When I was growing up I didn't learn about

the importance of having friendships with women.

It wasn't until I went through a gut-wrenching

divorce that left me alone, with five kids

to raise and no support system for me and what I was going through, or another woman I

felt safe sharing with, that I realized there was something major missing in my life.

I had to learn what it meant to not only have friends but to be a friend, too.

I learned the lessons and developed some

beautiful friendships. It was through these friendships I learned the power and deep

impact of having soul sisters.
